An Edina Hockey goaltending liaison has been assigned to each level within the organization. The goaltender liaison is a support resource for coaches, parents and goaltenders.  If a goaltender needs helps with a certain aspect of their game, if questions arise regarding game situations, if you would like help with goalie specific practice drills, etc - please contact the liaison appropriate for the level of your goaltender and we will work to provide them the support that they need.

Edina Hockey Association is proud to work with Stauber's Goalcrease  and FORTIS Goaltending to offer the most comprehensive and complete goaltending experience possible!

The Edina Hockey Association is pleased to continue its ongoing partnership with Stauber's Goalcrease for the 2023-2024 hockey season.  Through this partnership, EHA goaltenders are provided the opportunity to train at Goalcrease at a discount to their regular rates. Please use the document below to select the desired training package and schedule your sessions directly with Goalcrease.

Goaltenders are eligible to register for a training program once their tryouts are complete and they have been placed on a team.

Each goaltender within the association is allowed to select and register for one training package. All questions related to the training programs should be directed to Goalcrease.

Additionally, we will continue to offer in-season 3:1 training sessions on a first come/first serve basis. These will be communicated out during the season. Please limit one to start. 

*Note* - Edina High School goaltenders are not eligible to register for this program.

The Edina Hockey Association is partnering with Fortis Academy to offer in season goalie clinics. These clinics will be led by Grant Holler, lead goalie instructor with Fortis. Grant brings a diverse coaching experience from coaching goalies at all levels through work at the association level and at all Fortis on-ice camps and training programs including the Fortis Summer Goalie Camp which features goalies at the Bantam/U15, High School, Junior and College levels. Originally from Mattawan, Michigan Grant grew up playing hockey there and later at Culver Military Academy before going on to junior hockey. During that time Grant completed internships with Bandits Goalie School and Crossfit Fast Factory that led him to a love of coaching and player development. In addition to coaching with Fortis, Grant is the goaltending coach for Benilde St. Margaret’s high school and will be starting his fourth season with the program this year. When away from the rink Grant works in the financial services industry as a Product Manager and enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their two dogs Leo and Laney.

Training will take place on Sunday evenings beginning immediately after tryouts and continuing until early January. Space for these goalie clinics is limited to 15 goalies per session and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be available soon.
