Black made a deep run into the District playoffs, with 6 games in 7 days to finish 3rd, falling just short in a double OT shootout. A great culmination to a 27-14-2 season.
The boys battled some quality Wisconsin A teams to a close second place finish.
Black lost a close one early (literally 8am) and then finished with wins to take the Consolation hardware.
Black won three good games to beat Mahtomedi in the Championship game 5-2.
