Boy's & Girl's Mite Teams 23-24

How Many Games this Season?

An essential update by USA Hockey and District 6 for the 2023- 2024 Season.

8U-Mite 4 and 3 levels:

The following guidelines must be adhered to:

  • Cross-ice games are mandatory for all games scheduled before January 15th.
  • Scrimmage is permissible only with teams located within District 6. Games against teams outside of the district require approval from District 6 and can only be scheduled with neighboring districts - 1, 3, 8, and 9.
  • After January 15th, eight full ice games are permitted.
  • Each team is allowed to participate in up to two jamborees. These do not count towards the eight games total.
  • It's essential to note that games and jamborees must occur within District 6. Approval from District 6 is mandatory for games or scrimmages outside of the district, which will only be approved with neighboring districts - 1, 3, 8, and 9.

Scrimmages and Games for 6U and Under:

  • All games are played cross-ice for Termite, Mite 1, and 2 levels.
  • It is essential to note that all games are played with a District 6 team, except when District 6 approves it with a neighboring district, such as 1, 3, 8, or 9.
